Dreams: Keys to Remembering Dreams
Dreams: The Importance of Dreams
Late at night, the world sleeps. Everything is heavy with silence; even the trees and the mountains seem deep in slumber. A million miles away, they dance amongst the stars, journey into unknown galaxies, experience the mystical, the chaotic, the surreal. Those people limited by boundaries when the sun is up — handicaps, prejudice, fear, reputation — are limitless when night falls. The moment your head falls on your pillow you are standing at the edge of a sea of possibilities.
Yes, I know for a fact that dreams are important.
People have always been amazed and fascinated by the world of dreaming. Since the 1800s there have been records of unusual practices involving dreams. Read the rest of this entry »
Elemental Magic: Fire Energy
Direction: South
Colors: Red and orange
Elemental: Salamander
Time of Day: Noon
Season: Summer
Tools: Wand, candle, and staf
Zodiac: Aries, leo, and sagittarius
Animals: Dragons, snakes, lizards, and phoenixes
Places: Deserts, volcanoes, earth’s core
Fire energy is the hot, devouring power of the most intense emotions. Anger, lust, love. Just like the element itself, fire energy is difficult to control and it destroys everything in its path. Yet when contained, the energy can provide “light”, revealing the truth to its holder.
While fire energy is most powerful when out of control, like in burning buildings or forest fires, it is useless to a person when it is this furious. One cannot harness the energy of a raging fire and will instead find that the fire consumes their energy and leaves them drained. A contained flame, like in a candle or in hot coals, is much more valuable. It is more than enough for magic, but not enough to overpower the undertaker.
Elemental Magic: Air Energy
- Elemental Magic: Air Energy
- Direction: East
- Colors: Yellow and white
- Elemental: Sprites or sylphs
- Time of Day: Dawn
- Season: Spring
- Tools: Athame, sword, and censor
- Zodiac: Aquarius, gemini, and libra
- Animals: Birds
- Places: Windswept hills, mountain peaks, towers
Air energy is not as overpowering as other energies, which is fortunate because it is so abundant. It can be found all around us, in the air we breathe and the wind blowing through the trees. Air energy is light and can feel almost any temperature when it is being worked with. It is most powerful during the fury of a storm. Lightning charges the air and the wind moves incredibly fast. Air energy does not have as much physical power as earth or fire energy, but it has great advantages nonetheless. It is the energy of intellect, wisdom, and understanding. It also supports communication and friendship.
Elemental Magic: Earth Energy
Direction: North
Colors: Black, brown, and green
Elemental: Gnomes
Time of Day: Midnight
Season: Winter
Tools: Pentacle
Zodiac: Taurus, virgo, and capricorn
Animals: Bulls, dogs, deer, cows, bison, and mice
Places: Caves, mountains, forests, tunnels, and deserts
Earth energy can be derived from any earth-based source. This can be stones, sand, crystals, clay, even salt. It is one of the most commonly used elements of energy.
Earth energy is strong and cool. It is especially strong where the earth is uninhabited, for instance, in a desert or in the mountains. Earth energy is especially valuable in healing magic. It also represents love, money, and goals. A stone or crystal is often held for strength and protection. The earth can also be a way to feel closer to our creator.

Elemental Magic: Create a Living Elemental
NOTICE: This is quite a bit of information to consume, so please read it very well until you fully understand it and keep it at hand before you attempt to create an elemental.
One can create a thoughtform and infuse it with emotional energy. This creates what is called an artificial elemental or a familiar. Its purpose is to serve as a watcher, a guard, a messenger, or a companion. You may or may not be able to physically see it, but either way, you will be able to sense it. DO NOT create an artificial elemental that you do not need. If you create one and think you have failed, you are likely to be wrong… the last thing you want to do is create an elemental and not realise it. Be responsible for your actions! Elemental Magic: Healing Magic
This is a ritual for healing any problem. This is usually best performed on a waning moon, when it is almost new moon.
You cannot perform this ritual on someone else without them being present. You can, however, guide the person who needs healing to do this ritual on their own. It is only effective if the person with the ailment performs it, so it is ideal to heal yourself. Read the rest of this entry »
